A loyal NuGo fan submitted this great picture and post of her tailgate . She comments, “Another home season at Penn State’s Happy Valley has now ended. NuGo bars joined us at all of our tailgating parties. They are also the perfect snack to take with you into the game.” Unfortunately, she also mentioned this group lost a confiscated bar to the ticket taker on the way in. I’ll bet he enjoyed his break!

Alopecia Areata is a disease that causes partial to total hair loss in children and adults, there is not a known cause or a cure for this disease. It is not life threatening but it is life altering and that is why the “Children’s Alopecia Project” or “CAP“, was incorporated as the only non-profit devoted specifically to children with this disease. Our goal is to generate awareness of the disease, build self-esteem via support group participation for children and provide support to the CAP Kids and their friends and family. It was a great day to run the Outer Banks Marathon on Sunday, November 15th. The sun was out and all of the runners were ready to go! This year was the biggest event ever with over 6,500 people. With such a huge turn out, we were glad NuGo Nutrition was there to cheer them on!
Brad enjoyed a delicious Orange Smoothie NuGo Nutrition Bar after finding his legs. Brad finished in 3:25 and needed to energize! With 11 grams of protein and a low glycemic response he was ready to go in no time. Way to go Brad, great finish!!
