Jennifer Garcia is an attorney who competes in triathlons and loves running. She is licensed as an attorney in Michigan and is currently studying for the Colorado Bar. She won the Racing Underground Sprint Series for her age group two years in a row and placed in the top 10% in the Ironman All World Athlete.
For the past three years, Kate Ryley was named Collegiate Alpine Skier of the Year in Ski Racing Magazine. She is now a professional alpine ski racer from Toronto, Canada who ties the record for the most wins in a collegiate season. Kate recently graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of Vermont, where she received a full athletic scholarship. Prior to college, she competed on the Canadian National Ski Team. During her four years as a top competitor on the NCAA Division 1 circuit, Kate won an NCAA Individual Slalom Title as well as being a four-time academic and eight-time athletic All-American.
In the last four years, Bryan Morseman ran over 34 marathons and won at least 20 of them! He is currently training to achieve the US Olympic Marathon Trials Standard of 2:18, which will be held in Los Angeles in 2016. His best marathon time is 2:19:57, which puts him in the top 20 in the Boston or Chicago Marathon out of 40,000+ people. In September 2014, he won the Adirondack marathon with a record-setting time of 2:26:59 on a very tough, hilly course.
Eighth grader Alexys Matcuk has been competitively swimming since she was four-years-old. She is now a USA Sanctioned swimmer and swims with Arizona Gold, one of the best swim clubs in the country. Alexys swims six days a week for at least two hours per day. She swims all strokes, but her favorite is breaststroke.
Professional surfer Morgan Gore began surfing when she was 10-years-old with her older brother in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Only two years later, she started competing. In 2007, Morgan left the East Coast and moved to California to complete year-round and go to school. In 2009, Morgan won her first National Title. Now, at the age of 25, she lives in San Francisco and enters many surf competitions.
