Three members of the NuGo Koeles bike team, Jeff Curry, Derek Reager, and Dave Jackson, recently biked 335 miles from Pittsburgh to DC, taking many fantastic photos along the way. They began their journey in Pittsburgh along the Great Allegheny Passage and then continued on the C&O Canal Towpath, which connects Cumberland to DC. While the Great Allegheny Passage was built on abandoned rail beds and offers a fairly level, smooth ride on limestone, the C&O Canal Towpath was built for mules and drops 625 feet to sea level.
Olympic Men’s Foil Fencer Race Imboden travels the world as a professional fencer and model. At only 21-years-old, he has already medaled at numerous World Cups individually and as part of the US Team, competing everywhere from Azerbaijan to Tokyo. At the 2012 Olympics in London where the US fencing team placed fourth, Race was the second youngest male on the entire US Olympic team. He is currently ranked number two in the world, and he was part of the first US Men’s Foil Team to be number one in the world.
Jamie Brooks and her 9-year-old son Dylan lead a very active lifestyle and love gluten-free NuGo Dark. Four years ago, Jamie was the 4th nationally ranked racewalker for the 5K distance. Jamie explained how she now balances teaching math at Penn State and being a full time student working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Liberty University with running, biking, and parenting.

Olympic field hockey athlete Michelle Kasold began playing field hockey when she was in sixth grade, following in her mom’s footsteps. Now at the age of 27, she recently returned from competing in the 2014 World Cup for field hockey in The Hague, Netherlands, where the US team placed fourth. Michelle competed in the London 2012 Olympics and is training for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
