This was our fourth year proudly participating in the Pittsburgh Marathon. We want to congratulate everyone who joined our teams and finished the race. You are all Runners of Steel! Thank you to everyone who helped with the event and donated money for the Children’s Alopecia Project (CAP). So far we have raised $2,615, and you can still make donations until the end of May.
We received this photo from Michele, who has been with NuGo since our first product was manufactured. Michele’s daughter, Alexi, was diagnosed with Alopecia at age 5 and lost her hair at age 6. Alexi and her family are very special to NuGo and the reason why a generous portion of NuGo sales are donated to the Children’s Alopecia Project (CAP). We are proud to see in this photo that Alexi has grown into a beautiful and confident young adult. It looks like the whole family is having a great time at Hollywood Studios and enjoying their NuGo snack.
We are proud supporters of the Children’s Alopecia Project (CAP). Their logo appears on the wrapper of all of our bars because we donate a portion of sales to them. We love this new video featuring photos of CAP kids. CAP is certainly succeeding in their mission of building self-esteem in children with alopecia. For more information and alopecia resources, please visit the CAP website.
For those of you that may not know, NuGo is a proud supporter of CAP or Children’s Alopecia Project. You can find the logo on the back of all of our bars because this project is close to all of our hearts. This past week Maddie Woytovich was interviewed in her school and broadcasted on NBC.
The Purple Stride Chicago 5k walk was held in May of last year in Chicago. This walk was to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The family pictured below was so happy that NuGo Nutrition was able to fuel them through the race. Thanks!
NuGo supports Children’s Alopecia Project as its number one charity. We at NuGo have long considered ourselves a family, be it a family of products or developing products for the entire family. And we pride ourselves on being a family friendly work environment. Now we will get the chance to express ourselves through a direct and meaningful program, the Children’s Alopecia Project.
