NuGo Fan of the Month: Michele S
Since October 21, 2017, Michele has eaten a NuGo Slim bar every single morning for breakfast! She has diabetes, so she follows a very strict diet with low to no sugar, high protein, high fiber, low carb, and mostly raw foods. Michele eats three balanced meals a day with lots of nuts, fruits and veggies, whole grains, cheese, and lean meats.
Michele first tried NuGo Slim in 2012 when she started her diabetic diet and weight loss journey. The first flavor she tried was NuGo Slim Raspberry Truffle. Now, her favorite flavors are vegan NuGo Slim Crunchy Peanut Butter, Chocolate Mint, and Toasted Coconut.
In October 2017, she was rushed to the hospital with a large ruptured ovarian cyst. Her weight and blood sugar were out of control. Upon release from the hospital, she felt very weak and ill. The first thing she was able to keep down was a vegan NuGo Slim Chocolate Mint bar that she had laying around her home. That was the start of round two of her diet... five years later. Now at 43 years old, she is down 160 lbs. and feels better than ever!

Michele is a full time, hands-on mom of two very active boys (16 & 11) and works for a SEO legal marketing company. She loves to walk several miles a day when time allows. She also runs up and down any stairs she can find and runs a couple times a week.
