When Ian Moses was a senior in high school, he became hooked on eating NuGo Family Vanilla Yogurt, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Chocolate because they reminded him of a better alternative to rice crispy treats. Now, as a junior marketing major at St. Johns University in New York, his favorite flavors are NuGO STRONGER Caramel Pretzel and Cookies ‘N Cream.
In addition to making time to cook healthy meals at college, Ian enjoys weightlifting. During the week, he eats approximately four NuGo bars as an afternoon snack or after a workout. “NuGO STRONGER gives me the right boost I need to get going before, or the right amount of protein to recover after.”
Often people associate the word healthy with bland or boring. “The thing I like best about NuGo bars is that you don’t feel like you’re eating something healthy,” Ian explained. “Every NuGo bar and flavor is far from boring, and you can feel like your indulging without having to worry about nutrients or the ingredients of the bar itself.”
Ian shared his most important health and fitness tip for college students. “I think staying healthy and fit at college is all about being prepared. Being a full time student with an internship in the city I am always on the move. I go by the saying, ‘fail to plan, plan to fail.’ If it’s my time in the gym, my meals, snacks, time to study, or time to relax, I always have a plan,” said Ian.
