As a natural bikini competitor, Kelli follows a macronutrient nutrition plan and vegan diet to achieve her goals. She is also a gymnastics instructor, gymnast and a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer with a specialization in fitness nutrition. Earlier this year, her mom gave her a vegan NuGo protein bar to try. She loved NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel so much that she now eats it daily!
Kelli’s favorite flavor is NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel with Sea Salt. Her favorite way to eat a NuGo bar is to add chopped NuGo bar bites and fresh berries to plain coconut yogurt. Kelli explained what she likes best about NuGo Dark and when she eats it.
“I eat one NuGo bar every morning after my work out! On rest days, I pack a NuGo bar as an easy and tasty on-the-go snack! Real chocolate, pretzel and sea salt is the perfect combination! I also love the macronutrients. I love that I can include a bar or two into my daily bikini competition diet!”
When selecting a protein bar, Kelli looks for real ingredients, great taste, vegan, and it must be able to easily fit into her macronutrients for each day.
